New Year and New Life Changes

A new year typically brings new changes. Thousands of people change their lifestyles and routines for the new year, and that's something Aary and I are part of. 2022 was filled with new things and experiences. We moved into an apartment, raised a puppy, traveled internationally, got involved with each other's cultures, and came into a career block. At the end of 2022, we decided to make a huge change to our lives, and we're ready to tell you about it now.

Aary and I are both blessed to have careers that we love. He is following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather as a great and successful businessman. I've been working insanely hard for 4 years to be a model, and it's been rough. I haven't had as much success and luck as Aary had within his career, and it was taking a toll on me. I always have known that I wanted an unconventional job where I could travel and live internationally. In November, Aary was told that he had a 3-month assignment in India to oversee. I was ecstatic for him! This was huge for him as he can learn a whole new side of his job. Immediately I was struck with nerves, what am I going to do while he's gone? Los Angeles was hit and miss in my career, and I had to make a choice whether I wanted to stay or leave.

Coincidentally, I had an amazing opportunity fall into my lap. I was offered a modeling contract in Singapore, and it has been my goal to move to Asia for years. I now have the ability to move overseas to fulfill my career which is something I never thought was possible. Filled with nerves and excitement, I couldn't wait to tell Aary. We both have these amazing opportunities at such a young age in our careers, it would be stupid not to take them. The decision to move after the new year was made quickly. Contracts were signed and before we knew it we had made the crazy choice to move to Asia.

The realization that we would be long-distance set in quickly. At the beginning of our relationship, we spent the first 3 months doing distance from Los Angeles to Chicago. I'll be the first one to admit that it wasn't fun, but it was manageable. Having different schedules off the bat is hard, but adding in a time distance and a year of living together, this time it will be rough. Aary is my favorite person in the world, I absolutely adore spending all of my time with him. It doesn't matter if we're just sitting on the couch watching movies or having a nice dinner date, as long as I'm in his presence I am happy. Going from spending all day every day together to seeing each other once a month is not easy to digest. Yes, this is the best option for us and we can't miss out on it, but that doesn't make it any easier.

From January 11th until April 30th, we will be living in 2 different countries on the opposite side of the world. Our content won't be changing much, so don't be worried! You'll see more of our individual lives and the amazing places we will be living. A lot of food content, what our days look like, and when we're together it'll be the same fun couples content that everyone is used to! After April, we have no idea where we are going to be. We may spend May-August traveling the world, or we may settle down back in the States. Life is crazy and it changes onae daily, while we're young we are going to take advantage of that.

This new change isn't going to be easy, but it is the beginning of a very exciting chapter for us, and we hope you all stick around for the ride!
